![]() I am asking about extracting the full text, including the “&” character from text that is embedded in a program, like this: Textify can capture the “&” character if it is separated from a word, that is, if there is at least 1 space between the “&” character and another letter/word. I also think there is some confusion about what I was asking for, and what “Ted” was asking for in his post: Textify Portable is available for immediate download from the Textify Portable homepage.Hello again! I took a look at the page you asked me to view, and I used Microsoft Inspect Object v7.2, and it indeed cannot see the “&” character, but this program, GetWindowText, can extract the “&” character from words. And it's in Format, so it automatically works with the Platform including the Menu and Backup Utility. Textify Portable is packaged in a Installer so it will automatically detect an existing installation when your drive is plugged in. The text can then be copied, sent to Google Translate, Wikipedia search, and other customizable locations. Textify was created to solve this problem: you can point your mouse over the text, click on the mouse shortcut (Shift + Middle click by default), and get a selectable view of the text. Textify Portable is text capture and translation utility to get text from dialog boxes and other Windows elements that don't normally support copying. Update automatically or install from the portable app store in the Platform. And it's open source and completely free. It's packaged in Format so it can easily integrate with the Platform.
